Take some time out this weekend and make yourself a kickass Halloween costume. And then head over to Il Corral. ‘Cuz the Bizzart/I Heart Lung/Macka/Robin Williams On Fire show is gonna be sweet.
And we are having a costume contest!!
This year: best costume gets a $40 cash prize.

Why not win the money back on Monday night!?
Also, we will have a bobbing for apples contest and tons of great music from DJ Mr. Kyle H. Mabson!!!!
See you there?

It was great to be back at Il Corral last night!!! Abe Vigoda played new music that was simply transcendent. They had their new album **Kid City** and I got one. Wow! It’s fucking great.
The Pope’s set was even shorter than usual, which was about eight minutes last night. Teething played for five…. Both were awesome!
Sea Beasts and National Sunday Law got everyone in the mood to rock.
DJ Kyle went all ’90s-pop/grunge with the tunes. Aaargh! (Although he did play “3AM Eternal” and “Smack That” so I gotta give him props.)
There was a great crowd of friends and I would like to thank everyone for coming out.
Enjoy the photos.

[The new Abe Vigoda record got me thinking about two of my favorite bands from the ’90s: Polvo and Pitchblende. They are obscure now, but both made rad music. They are from the same musical dimension as Abe V. so you might check them out. In my mind I imagine some mystical show with all three bands playing! I’m a nerd, I know.]
