This past Monday was a great show from start to finish—I hope everyone grooved on the diverse music like I did :)
Juiceboxxx was on fire for his first show in one week, and his last L.A. show for many months. He jammed, got everyone all hot and bothered and then immediately left for the airport. That’s the life of a rock star.
Band of Outsiders unleashed some soulful, proto-rock shamblings that were reminiscent of the Fall, or maybe some kind of electric blues. Punk blues.
Wonder Wheel was noisy four track sing-along fun. Yay—nicely done!!
Margot from I.E. unleashed a new issue of her Totally Mag magazine—the best celeb magazine in California or anywhere. It even included trading cards!
Tik///tik was his usual on-fire self. I am so inspired by his almost danceable noise.
I.E. really got the crowd fired up and dancing. An incredible performance!
Oscillator was also incredible. Ben Wolcott and Nondor ripped out this black metal/noise hybrid that sounded like a dragon gargling a very large Muppet.
Don’t miss this Monday’s show. And if you wear a costume, I’lll take $2 off at the door!!!
