Monday night’s show was an incredible, positive and spiritual event. I’m not even exaggerating. Music is really happening right now and to be surrounded by such awesome music and AMAZING & smart music friends… it’s a good place to be in. I’m loving life.

Mega-thanks to Anavan, Health, Foot Village, A++, the awesome audience, Darren and Adam and Andrew and Pauline and Pehr, DJ KYle, DJ McAllister, DJ Paula Poundstone, DJ Nick Pinto, DJ Dan, Richmond (who made the best wrist bands), L.A. Kyle’s show sure was a lot of fun. With Anavan, Laco$te, Flaspar, A++, Smooth Grooves and Fortress of Amplitude, I think it’s safe to say that this was the best show of the year so far!! (Unfortunately, I was running a bit late and did not get not get pictures of A++, but later on in the night, they jammed with Smooth Grooves. That was the best part!)

What a great fucking show we had at Il Corral last night! Weird noise, electrified crickets, “money is the root of Olive Oyl,” flying drum mayhem… whew. That was action packed!

Big thanks go out to the bands (Attakr, David Kendall, A++, Unnecessary Surgery, and Creekbird), Il Corral (Stane, Christie and Bob), DJ Kyle H. Mabson, and everyone who came out. You guys rule!

Oh man the Smell was ragin’ last night. The crowd was amped… the show was a blast!

Kudos go to Jim & the Smell, Kyle, the bands & everybody who came out (…of the closet?!) for the event. This was one of the best shows ever!!

This Monday: October 16 **AT ZAMAKIBO** Bird Names (from Chicago, IL), Sea Org (member of Rib Bib), Off Peru (amazing/cathartic new band!) and the Joysticks.

My show at Zamakibo in August was a big success so I have high hopes for next week. The music is going to be rad. See you there?
