Woo-hoo! Monday Nights are here again!!! I so enjoyed this past Monday’s show. Caruso, Caruso packed the place and were enthrallingly weird. It’s so great to have William Caruso back… and now that he’s back we get a bonus Caruso, too. Yeah!
Dommm was superb—this was one of his best shows. Which is sad ‘cuz this was his *last* show in L.A. for awhile. He’s moving to S.F. but will be back soon, and is continuing to play music, which is a good thing. Good luck to you, Dommm.
Flaspar were their typical tuneful/noisy/rockin’ selves and put on a great performance. It’s like they’ve taken 40+ years of psych rock ‘n noise and crushed it under the massive force of their rockingness and created a magical diamond. They’re that good!
The crowd this night… Wow! SO many people. I was impressed. Thanks, everyone, for the support. It may appear that I have been slackin’ lately. Maybe I have been. I’ve just been dealing with some heavy shit and feeling glum. But that has NOTHING to do with the fantastic schedule I have lined-up for this year. I have never been more excited about the music everyone is making. On this night, it saved my life (as it has many times before). Thank you.
Then there’s Kyle Mabson… he saved my life, too. So did Pehrspace. I owe them a big paint job. I bought the paint but could use some help. And I have a shit ton of emails to respond to. I feel the power coursing through me again so please accept my apology if I haven’t been in touch. I’m gonna get this sorted. Promptly.
