This past Monday’s show was a success in every way: great music (thanks to the bands, and Josh Taylor/Kyle Mabson who headed the whole thing up), a huge crowd, great friends, awesome door help (thanks, Stevie), and, of course, a great venue (cheers, Pehrspace!).
We were up against some fierce competition with beloved Monday Night friends playing simultaneous shows at the Smell (Abe Vigoda, Bipolar Bear) and the Echo (Rumspringa, Halloween Swim Team), but we still ended up with an incredible turnout—of almost entirely new folks, too. I love that! I love making new friends!
Which brings me to this… I didn’t really capture the atmosphere of the night in the photos below. I was so busy at the door, and the crowd was so dense, I could never really get in the room and find a good position to take the pics that I wanted to get. This was a huge music party… If anyone has any photos from the show, please send me a link.
This coming Monday, we’re gonna do it all again, except twice as big and twice as ROCK!
